Shuttle service between hotels and the convention center is not available. While all hotels are within walking distance to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, there are many options for your commute.

Beware of Unauthorized Hotel Solicitations

Maritz is the only official housing company associated with ASHG. While other hotel resellers may contact you offering housing for your trip, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the meeting. Beware that entering into financial agreements with non-endorsed companies can have costly consequences.

Be Aware of Scams for Housing and Attendee Lists

Be alert! ASHG members and meeting attendees are being approached by companies or visiting websites that falsely claim to be official ASHG hotel partners or offer “the best rates.” Many of these are scams. We strongly suggest you book using the hotel links provided on ASHG’s website or another reputable and known travel website. Members and exhibitors have reported lost reservations and unrecoverable expenses from such scams and fake sites. Please pay careful attention when booking, and we look forward to welcoming you to Washington D.C.

Another common scam is an offer of the official attendee email list for ASHG 2023. ASHG does not sell, rent, or share contact/lead lists of members or meeting attendees. None of these companies are legitimate. Please reach out to exhibits@ashg.org for advertising and sponsorship options to reach ASHG meeting attendees and to report suspicious contacts.
