You must be a current ASHG member prior to purchasing registration to receive discounted registration rates. Reimbursements will not be provided if ASHG membership is purchased after registering.
To access ASHG member rates, make sure you are entering the same email address as used in the registrant’s membership profile.

With over 7,000 expected attendees, the ASHG 2024 Annual Meeting is the place to be to experience a great lineup of in-person scientific sessions.
As part of the fee to register, you will get to enjoy multiple days of great content including:
- 15 plenary talks (abstract-driven).
- 328 platform talks (abstract-driven).
- 16 featured symposium sessions (member-proposed sessions).
- 6 interactive workshops (member-proposed sessions, advance ticket purchase required).
- 3,000+ posters (abstract-driven).
- Special sessions such as the Presidential Symposium, Presidential Address, Distinguished Speakers Symposium, and more!
- Opportunities for collaboration with an interdisciplinary network of emerging and leading scientists.
- Industry-driven technology solutions in the exhibit hall, CoLabs, and Industry Education sessions.
- Continuing education credits are offered for CME, NSGC, and P.A.C.E. ®. A list of approved sessions and the number of credits available will be announced in August. You are required to register for the meeting and pay a separate fee to apply for CME and NSGC credits. P.A.C.E. ® credits do not have a separate fee.
- Workshops, receptions, career development events, and plenty of networking opportunities. Additional fees may apply.

- Advance registration is required for childcare.
- Children 18 and under may receive a complimentary badge at the registration counter in the Colorado Convention Center. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.

Group registration rates are the same as for individual registrants. Utilizing the group registration tool is intended to save time when registering multiple attendees.
A guest is a non-scientist family member (over 18) or guest of a scientist, including scientists who wish to attend the exhibit hall only. The guest registration fee includes a badge and access to ASHG 2024 for the sole purpose of observing only the registered scientist’s presentation or touring the exhibit hall.
Guest registration is available for $55 through the online registration portal and onsite with the purchase of a full registration.
Please note the following restrictions:
- A guest is only allowed to register once during the annual meeting.
- A maximum of two guests per registrant are allowed.
- Guests are admitted to scientific events (including poster sessions and the exhibit hall) only on the day indicated on the guest badge.
One-day registration will not be available for ASHG 2024.
- Press registration will open in June. Before registering, please review our Press Guidelines (coming soon) for eligibility requirements and other key details.
- ASHG encourages press to register in advance. In the weeks leading up to the meeting, press who have registered for the meeting will receive access to embargoed press releases and other related materials.

Unfortunately, sold-out events (ex: workshops) cannot be moved to a larger room since the schedule is set. There is not a waitlist if someone cancels their registration. We recommend registering as early as possible to secure your spot.
