In primary grades, teachers frequently teach all subjects at a certain grade level, whereas middle and high school teachers typically teach one or several related subjects across grade levels. Teaching positions in public schools require state certification, while those in charter or private schools typically do not. Science teachers combine their love of science with their love of teaching and learning, to inspire the next generation of students.
