Careers in Genetics: Laboratory Technician

Laboratory Technicians work in basic research or clinical labs in many capacities. Frequently lab technicians are responsible for ordering supplies and reagents, maintaining equipment, and preparing biological specimens or samples. More experienced laboratory technicians also often conduct experiments under guidance from more senior lab personnel.
