August 2017

Orlando, Here We Come! With ASHG’s 2017 Annual Meeting right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about how to make the most of all that this event has to offer. The meeting offers many opportunities for trainees to present their work, develop career skills, receive mentorship, and network with colleagues. Here we’ll provide an overview of some of the highlights of this year’s meeting, including those especially designed for trainees. For a full listing of events with additional details, you can also take a look at the Annual Meeting schedule online or on the Mobile App (coming in September).

Before we get started, don’t forget that ASHG trainee members can save $210 on registration. Early registration deadline is August 28, so be sure to sign up soon. With registration, you can also enroll in meeting events and workshops. All ticketed events require advance registration, and many sell out fast, so register ASAP!
