Membership Terms and Conditions
ASHG membership runs on a calendar year basis from January 1 – December 31. Membership is not prorated. By purchasing a membership, you are acknowledging that you understand your membership will expire December 31, 2024.
ASHG will start selling the next calendar year’s membership either during or after the Annual Meeting. Members will be notified via email when the next year of membership opens for sale.
By purchasing a membership with ASHG, you agree to pay annual dues in full at time of joining/renewing. If you have elected to automatically renew your membership, dues can be charged to your credit card up to 30 days prior to or after expiration (December 31).
Membership Dues Refund or Membership Cancellation/Changes
A full-membership dues refund is only available if there was an unauthorized use of a credit card or a duplicate membership was purchased, and we are contacted in writing (firstname.lastname@example.org) no more than 30 days after your membership was purchased. There will be NO REFUNDS after 30 days of membership have passed and refunds will not be issued if an abstract submission is not accepted. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for purchasing the membership. If the incorrect membership category was purchased, membership category can be changed at the time of renewal for the next calendar year.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our refund and cancellation policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new refund and cancellation policy on this page. You are advised to review this refund and cancellation policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this refund and cancellation policy are effective when they are posted on this page. By clicking on “process payment” you are agreeing to our refund and cancellation policy.
