Joann Boughman Named as Senior Vice Chancellor of the University System of Maryland

Dr. Joann Boughman, Executive Vice President of ASHG will be leaving the organization to begin a new position as Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the twelve institutions of the University of Maryland System. She has served ASHG for 11 years, and will be returning to the academy where she spent her time as a faculty member and administrator. The ASHG Board of Directors will initiate a national search for her replacement as the Executive Officer of ASHG. Details of that search process will be available soon, both on the ASHG web site and in the American Journal of Human Genetics.
