56th Annual Meeting of The American Society of Human Genetics

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

If your name and program number at the ASHG abstract assignment Web site indicate that your abstract has been selected for a poster presentation at the 56th Annual ASHG Meeting, please thoroughly review the following information.

Each author will share a board with another author, and each will have a useable area measuring 3'10" (116.8 cm) wide x 3'8" (111.8 cm) high. Poster materials may not extend outside the assigned half-board.

Important - Please note:

• Posters will be displayed in Halls D/E of the Ernest N. Convention Center. The Halls will close at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 12, for exhibitor and poster board move-out, and will not open again. Registrants cannot be admitted to Halls D/E for any reason after 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 12. Exceptions cannot be made.

• All poster authors must remove their posters before 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 12.

Abstracts assigned to poster presentations have been grouped according to the topic category determined to be most appropriate by members of the ASHG program committee. Poster presenters are expected to remain at their boards in Halls D/E for the full duration of their scheduled presentation times. Changes in the time or date of assignments cannot be made.

If you cannot be at your poster as assigned, you may either ask one of your co-authors to make the scheduled presentation, or you may place a note on your poster advising interested individuals of a date and time when you will be at your poster board.

Your assigned poster board number is the same as your program number indicated at the Abstract Assignment Web site and in meeting publications. All poster boards will be pre-numbered. Please be certain to mount your poster on the correct board. All authors whose abstracts are selected for a poster presentation should mount their posters between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 10, prior to the Tuesday afternoon sessions that begin at 4:30 pm.

For safety and security reasons, poster authors cannot be admitted to Halls D/E before 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 10. No exceptions can be made.

If you do not arrive in New Orleans in time to mount your poster during the hours stated above, please mount your poster immediately after you register.

No one, including presenters, will be admitted to Halls D/E without an official meeting registration badge.
