| The Department of Genetics provides expertise in a wide variety of clinical and research areas. The Interdisciplinary Genetics Graduate Program provides students interested in genetics with comprehensive and flexible research training. The Medical Genetics Residency is a two year training experience for physicians with an interest in the diagnosis, counseling and management of patients with inherited disorders. We offer combined programs in Pediatrics / Medical Genetics and Internal Medicine / Medical Genetics. These programs lead to board eligibility in both fields. The Molecular Genetic Pathology Residency is a one year program designed to train pathologists and medical geneticists for a career in molecular genetic pathology. ABMG fellowships are available in cytogenetics, molecular genetics, & biochemical genetics, as well as postdoctoral training opportunities with a number of our research faculty. Also, we are currently seeking approval for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine / Medical Genetics Fellowship. | |
