The Department of Epidemiology offers training in Genetic Epidemiology as an area of concentration at both the Master's and doctoral level. The academic program includes course work in genetic epidemiology, biostatistics and epidemiology, plus specific disease topics such as cardiovascular disease and cancer epidemiology. The Master's of Health Science (MHS) and the ScM are 2 year programs; PhD or DSc are 4 years programs, and post-doctoral fellowships typically take 1-2 years.
