The Department of Human Genetics is a degree-granting unit in the Molecular Biosciences Cluster which includes the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology, and the Committees on Genetics, Developmental Biology. These five academic units share a common admissions process. Our department offers opportunities to study diverse areas of human genetics such as human disease, classical genetics, neurogenetics, complex trait genetics and population/evolution genetics.
