![]() CEU/CME Information Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits
The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians and Ph.D. medical geneticists. FASEB and The American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) take responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity. FASEB designates this educational activity for up to 25.25 credit hours in category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
***NEW*** The CME application will be online this year. For your convenience, forms will be provided to help keep track of the sessions you attend at the meeting. You can pick-up a form at the ASHG Society and Membership Office in Room 21, the Meeting Management Office in Room 24A, or at the Information Desk located in the San Diego Convention Center. Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Credits for California-Licensed Clinical and Molecular Laboratory Directors
Continuing education units up to 24.0 will be available for California cytogeneticists through the Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education (PACE) program. All education sessions, social issues sessions, invited speaker sessions, concurrent/plenary platform sessions, the Friday evening session, the Saturday plenary and the Distinguished Speakers’ Symposium have been approved for credit. The poster, presidential address, and awards sessions have not been approved for credit. You can pick up your CEU packet on site in the ASHG Society and Membership Office, Room 21 of the San Diego Convention Center.
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Credits for Genetic Counselors
The American Counseling Association (ACA) will grant up to 32 clock hours of
education or 3.2 CEUs for the 57th annual meeting of The American Society of
Human Genetics. This event is co-sponsored by the ACA. ACA is approved by
the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer up to 32 contact
clock hours of continuing education credit. ACA adheres to NBCC continuing
education guidelines. NBCC-approved contact hours will be provided by ACA.
ACA offers 10 contact clock hours for every (1) continuing education unit,
