Citing Abstracts Online

Ancillary and Satellite Events

The deadline to schedule an ancillary function was May 25. We extended the deadline a few extra days (until May 31) but now the site is closed! Additional requests for meeting space will need to be arranged directly with the hotel (after June 30). All functions must follow the ASHG guidelines. Please review before requesting space from the hotel.

Your contact at the headquarter hotel (The San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina) is Paul Hirschberg. He can be reached via email at paul.hirschberg@marriott.com.

You will need to provide the following information to the hotel:

Meeting date
Start/End time
Expected Attendance
Set-Up Requirements (e.g., roundtables)
AV needs
Food & Beverage Needs

Once you have been assigned a room, please forward the following information to chiner@faseb.org and we will list your event on the ASHG Website (NOTE: functions that did not meet the deadline will not make it in the printed Program).

NOTE: ASHG does not assist in any way with the planning, funding, or management of ancillary events. Organizers will be responsible for all arrangements and costs associated with their events including room rental, audio-visual equipment, food and beverages.
