Morial Convention Center meets all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. A few of these details are listed below.
New Orleans Hotel ADA Information All of the hotels in the ASHG hotel block are in compliance with current ADA regulations some hotels offer more disability amenities than others. In May, a chart will be available which outlines all hotel ADA basics. New Orleans ADA Accessibility Information The city provides easy access for all residents and tourists. The New Orleans Transportation System provides ramp access and designated wheelchair parking inside each train and all city buses have wheelchair lifts or ramps. For more information regarding public transportation and personal scooter and wheelchair rentals, please contact the following companies. Wheelchair/Scooter Rentals: You must order a scooter in advance of the meeting. Please Click Here. Rhino Business Services (located in Lobby F of the Convention Center) will have a scooter waiting for you upon arrival in New Orleans and can recharge the battery for you overnight if you do not wish to drive the scooter to your hotel.
