Two sets of concurrent education sessions are held on Wednesday, October 26. The first set of three sessions is from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM and the second set of three sessions is from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Details appear in the Daily Session Listings.

  Social Issues Program

With the expansion of genetic technologies and their applications, a host of social issues is evolving. These issues include new ethical and legal concerns as well as social questions. The Social Issues Sessions are designed to examine these questions from a broad perspective. These sessions feature a variety of speakers and viewpoints on specific topics, including public policy, legislation, and regulation. Two Social Issues Sessions are held on Wednesday, October 26: the first from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM; the second from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
