INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLATFORM ABSTRACT PRESENTATIONS
IMPORTANT: All presentations must use electronic presentation format. Presentations can be submitted in advance via http://presentationmanagement.com/ASHG or on-site by visiting the Speaker Ready Room in advance of your presentation. All presentation files (i.e. PowerPoint) must be loaded on to the central computer system to assure their availability for your talk. Please come to the Speaker Ready-Hospitality
Room (listed below) at the SaltPalace Convention Center AT LEAST 4 hours before your talk. It is preferable for you to load your presentation 24 hours ahead, in case a problem is encountered.
Each platform presentation is ten minutes in length followed by five minutes for discussion.
All presenters, including poster presenters and invited speakers are reminded that when presenting data and health information (including photos) must have informed consent compliant
with human subjects and applicable HIPAA regulations.
Because of the large size of the session rooms, it is critical that great care be taken in the design and content of your electronic presentations. Please see Instructions for Preparing Electronic Presentations.
The Speaker Ready-Hospitality Room will be open according to the following schedule:

Standard audio-visual equipment available to all platform session presenters includes: LCD projector for computer-generated presentations, screen, lectern, microphone, pointer, and speaker timing lights. No dual projection will be provided. Overhead projectors and 35mm slide projectors will NOT be provided.
If you have an emergency and are not able to make your presentation as scheduled, please immediately notify Joann Boughman at jboughman@ashg.org.

After submitting a file, Please click the LOGOUT link at the top of the page, this will ensure a confirmation is sent. You will receive a confirmation email within an hour. If you do not, please contact Support (support@presentationmanagement.com) to make sure your files were received. When contacting support for technical issues please include the conference name and the presenter's full name.
Need to make changes to your presentation?
In the event that you need to make changes to a presentation that you have already submitted, resubmit the files on the website utilizing the same file name (or a new file name and delete the earlier one submitted on the site). If you'd like to review your presentation prior to your session, you have the option of visiting the Speaker Ready Room.
