EXHIBITION LOGISTICS
Use of Outside Contractor

Exhibitors who plan to have an exhibit service firm (other than Brede/National Exposition Services, the official service contractor) unpack, erect, assemble, dismantle, and pack displays must abide by all SDCC rules and regulations. Exhibitors must notify ASHG Exhibit Management of such plans by Friday, September 28, 2007.

The exhibitor and/or service firm must notify ASHG Exhibit Management and Brede/National Exposition Services in writing of the name of the supervisor(s) and all employees working the show and must furnish an ORIGINAL insurance certificate to ASHG Exhibit Management showing required Workers Compensation coverage and liability coverage to include property damage in the amount of $1,000,000. The EAC form can be downloaded from the Exhibitor Service Kit Web site on or about July 2, 2007.

The service company must show proof of affiliation with the exhibitor and all outside contractor personnel must report to the Exhibitor Service Desk to receive a badge before being allowed onto the exhibit hall floor for erecting and dismantling exhibitor booths. Only exhibitors and contractors that have provided ASHG Exhibit Management with the required notification and forms will be allowed to work on the exhibit floor. Those without required forms will not be allowed on the floor until the required forms have been completed and presented to Exhibit Management.
