RULES AND REGULATIONS
Salt Palace Convention Center (SPCC) Notice to Exhibitors

1.   Helium balloons, glitter and confetti are prohibited. Mylar balloons are also prohibited due to their effect on the SPCC fire detection systems.
 
2.   Decorations, signs, banners, etc., may not be taped, nailed, stapled, or otherwise fastened to ceilings, walls, painted surfaces, or columns. No holes may be drilled, cored, or punched in the facility.
 
3.   Adhesive-backed decals and stickers, badges, chewing gum, or any other adhesive-backed items, including adhesive tape, are strictly prohibited in the facility or on the premises. Any cleaning or damages that arise from disregarding this rule shall be billed to the issuing exhibitor.
 
4.   The SPCC maintains the exclusive right to provide all food and beverage services within the facility. All arrangements for the serving of food and/or beverages must be through the in-house caterer, Utah Food Service (UFS). Contact a USF sales representative at (801) 531-0226 or visit them online at: www.utahfoodservices.com. No outside food service or deliveries are allowed on the premises.
 
5.   All freight and exhibit material must enter the facility through designated loading docks. In no case should passenger elevators, escalators or public lobbies be used for this purpose.
 
6.   Parking is strictly prohibited in the loading dock area, service driveways, fire lanes, the SPCC employee's parking area, and any other location posted "No Parking". Vehicles are allowed on loading dock to load or unload only. Violators will be towed at their own expense and risk.
 
7.   The floor load limit for the exhibit Hall C-D is 200 pounds per square foot.
 
8.   The SPCC DOES NOT ACCEPT freight shipments for exhibitors. Freight must be consigned to Brede/National Exposition Services during the leased period. If freight is sent directly to the SPCC, it will not be received by Brede/National before October 24, 2005. Freight addressed to the Convention Center c/o Brede/National before October 24, 2005 will be refused by the SPCC.
