How do I register for the meeting?
Registration payments must be made by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or Visa only). We do not process phone or fax registrations. Purchase orders and wire transfers are not accepted. The registration form and rates can be found on the registration page.

What does my registration fee include?
The registration fee to attend the ASHG 2019 Annual Meeting includes access to scientific sessions, the Exhibit & Poster Hall and CoLabs, the ASHG Career Center, plenary sessions, ticketed workshops and trainee events, and frequent networking opportunities.
Do I have to pay registration fees if I submitted an abstract?
Yes. Abstract submission does not include the registration fee.
Can someone else register another person?
Yes, as long as they can provide all of the necessary information and payment. Registration is completed using the registrant's ASHG Community Web Portal log in information.
I don't know if I have an ASHG Community Web Portal account.
If you have attended an ASHG Annual Meeting, submitted an abstract, are a past or present member of ASHG, or have interacted with the Society in another way, you likely have an account. Which credit cards are accepted for payment?
ASHG accepts American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and Visa.
Can I pay by check?
No. ASHG accepts credit cards in advance and on site, and accepts cash on site only. If the standard registration form does not match your institution's payment requirements, please contact customer service at email@example.com or 774-247-4003.
How do I reprint my receipt? How do I send my confirmation and receipt to a colleague?

How do I add or edit events and tickets to my registration after I have completed the registration process?
Please visit the Registration Resource Center to add ticketed events to your registration.
How do I add the CEU, CME, or P.A.C.E. fees to my registration?
You can purchase continuing education before the meeting during registration or in the Registration Resource Center after you have registered. You may also pay the fee after the meeting, when you fill out the application to claim the credits. Please note: you will be required to submit an online form post-meeting to claim your credits; purchasing the credits alone does not claim them.
The event I wanted to attend is sold out. Can I be put on a waitlist?
We do not currently keep a waitlist for ticketed events. Please browse the Schedule of Events to view other events that may be of interest to you.
Will I receive my badge prior to traveling to ASHG 2019?
No. Your confirmation email will include a QR code and a six-digit badge number, with which you will print your badge at a kiosk upon your arrival at the convention center. Please bring this email with you, which can be retrieved in the Registration Resource Center.
I have registered for the ASHG Annual Meeting but cannot attend. May I send someone else in my place?
Meeting registrations cannot be transferred to another person. If the registrant cannot attend, his/her registration must be cancelled, and the replacement person must register for the meeting separately.
I am a current member of ASHG, but when I register, the form does not recognize my member status.
Make sure that you are entering the same email address in the registration form as you used in your ASHG membership profile.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Registrants must send a written request containing their registration number to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 26, 2019. All cancellations are subject to a nonrefundable processing fee of $75. Meeting registration cannot be transferred to another person. No refunds will be issued for requests received after the cancellation deadline.
