Career Resources/Employment Opportunities

GeneticsCareers Online and at ASHG 2018

The online Career Center GeneticsCareers.org, provided jointly by ASHG and the Genetics Society of America, is open year round and is a free service for posting your resume or browsing or posting job announcements. Before searching or posting jobs, users must register with GeneticsCareers.org and agree to the terms and conditions. For questions, email contact@geneticscareers.org.

In San Diego, the Career Center will be located in the Exhibit & Poster Hall next to ASHG Central and will be open during exhibit hours.

The meeting program includes several ticketed career development events and workshops for trainees and early-career scientists that are available now.

Resume Critiques and Career Counseling

Sign-ups for CV/Resume Critique and Career Counseling sessions are now open. If you have any questions, contact Evelyn Mantegani, ASHG Public Education and Engagement Specialist, at emantegani@ashg.org

Explore Careers in the Exhibit & Poster Hall

Stop by the Career Center for a list of exhibitors who are hiring!

As you’re walking through the Exhibit & Poster Hall, look for exhibitors wearing the ribbon “Industry Scientist.” Anyone wearing the ribbon will be able to ‘speak science with you’ and tell you about what they have to offer.
