Convention Center, North Upper Lobby.
Registration Hours
Scientific registration is located in the North Upper
Lobby, Moscone Center. Hours of operation are:

Guest Registration (On-site only)
Guest registration will be available on-site only for family members of registered attendees. The fee is $125 per guest and includes admission to the Opening Reception and Exhibit Hall only. The guest registration does not
include access to scientific sessions. In order to
register as a guest, you must be accompanied by a paying
scientific registrant. Please go to the guest badge
counter (located in the registration area) onsite at the
meeting during registration hours. Guests will be issued colored badges
different from those of scientific registrants.
Replacement Badges
A $10 fee will be charged to registrants for each replacement badge requested (i.e., to replace badges that are left at home or in hotel rooms, lost or forgotten, etc.).
Registrant Search/Find a Colleague
Attendees can utilize a search program that will check the registration status of fellow colleagues.

Registration Fees
Registration fees include admission to all scientific sessions, the Exhibit Hall, Presidential Address, Plenary Sessions, Presidential Symposium, Closing Plenary Symposium, and much more! Fees do not include admission to the separate ticketed events. Children under the age of 18 will be admitted (at no cost) if accompanied by a paying scientific registrant.

*Student/Trainee (Members and Non-members) may register at the discounted rates. Postdoctoral fellows and students working toward a degree in human genetics (or an allied field) qualify for the rate. Trainees will be asked to input certain information to meet the criteria. Trainees who register on-site should bring a student ID card or a letter signed by their department head to certify current status.

Registration Payments
Registration payments must be made by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or Visa only). Purchase orders and wire transfers are not accepted. Do not
fax or mail your registration payment. If you are unable
to register online via credit card, please contact the meeting management
staff via e-mail at
ashgmeetings@ashg.org.
Registration Receipt, Badge, and Event Tickets
A registration receipt, registration badge, and event tickets (if purchased) will be mailed to early registrants in the U.S.
to those who register by September 4, 2012.
For those registering and/or purchasing tickets after
September 4, badges and tickets will be available for
pick up on-site.
Badges must be worn at all times while in the Moscone Center. If you forget to wear your badge, you will be asked to purchase a replacement badge.
Request Registration Receipt and Letter of Invitation
To retrieve a copy your registration receipt, please enter the last name and email in your registration. If a match is found, an email will be sent out.
Registration Transfers
Meeting registrations cannot be transferred to another person. If the registrant cannot attend the ASHG 2012 Meeting in person for any reason, his/her registration must be cancelled, and the replacement person must register for the meeting separately.
Registration Cancellation/Refunds
Deadline: September 12, 2012
To cancel a meeting registration and receive a refund, registrants must send a written request to the meeting registrar at ashgmeetings@ashg.org by the deadline on September
12, 2012. Registrants must return all meeting materials (e.g., badge, tickets) before cancellations can be processed. No refunds will be issued for requests received after the cancellation deadline. Please note that all cancellations are subject to a non-refundable processing fee of $75.
