Meeting Objective/Target Audience
The objective of this meeting is to provide a forum for the exchange of new resear
by scientists and investigators. At the completion of this meeting, participants sho
be able to:
1. discuss the research underway and/or the current topics relevant to their are
of interest in genetics;
2. demonstrate an increased level of insight into the methods being used
researchers and practitioners in their fields; and
3. describe a personal exposure to several stimulating areas of inquiry with speak
and presenters in related areas.
This meeting is targeted to clinical practitioners, research scientists, and medi
education professionals.

The American Society of Human Genetics has implemented a process where everyo
who is in a position to influence and/or control the content of a continuing educati
activity must disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial inter
and any conflicts of interest must be resolved prior to the activity. Participants
educational programs must be informed of an organizer’s and/or a presente
academic and professional affiliation and the existence of any relevant financ

Members of the ICHG Program Committee indicated a relationship which could
perceived by some as a real or apparent conflict of interest in planning the invit
sessions. In these cases, the committee members refrained from the discussion.
