National Constitution Center

Saturday, November 15, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm

(Admission by advance ticket purchase only.)
Join us for a special evening at the National Constitution Center on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Included in the fee is admission to the museum, a dinner buffet, unlimited soft drinks/coffee, two alcoholic beverage tickets (to be exchanged for beer or wine) and transportation in Victorian-style coaches to and from the venue. The event will begin at 7:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm. Further information regarding transportation will be e-mailed to all registrants at a later date.

The National Constitution Center is an interactive museum in the heart of Philadelphia's historic district featuring more than 100 multimedia exhibits, film, photographs, text, sculpture and artifacts. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by historical characters (Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross) and will be entertained to the sounds of the Royal Fife & Drum Band. After tasting some great food, step into the past by wandering among life-size bronze statues of the 42 present at the Constitutional Convention. All guests will have an unforgettable and inspiring experience when they enter the Kimmel Theater to watch the 17-minute multimedia award winning show “Freedom Rising” which tells the story of the United States Constitution from the Revolutionary era through the present day. Take a self-guided tour by visiting the fascinating, interactive and thought-provoking exhibit that includes a rare printing of the Emancipation Proclamation. You can “take the presidential oath,” try on Supreme Court Justice robes, post your thoughts on current constitutional issues, or leave your mark by signing today’s Constitution.  Then step onto the dance floor to the sounds of the DJ playing tunes from the past four decades.

Tickets to this event must be purchased in advance and are not included in the registration fees.

To obtain tickets, indicate the number and type you wish to purchase when you register and include the cost in your registration payment. Tickets will be collected as you enter the museum. No one will be admitted without a ticket.
