ASHG is providing a service for those seeking employment and those seeking qualified candidates. On site and extended services will be provided by The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB).

CAREER CENTER

A service of FASEB Career Resources, arranged by ASHG, the FASEB Career Resources Center will feature:

• A Virtual Career Fair (before, during and after the meeting)

• Computer-assisted registration, ‘search-and-referral’ services, interview scheduling and message services

• On-site interview facilities

• ‘Position Available’ posting area (unlimited postings included with Employer Registration)

• Career Counselors available on-site to assist with CV/resume critiques and development

• Message center for applicants and employers

• Careers OnLine Applicant DataNet Registration (year round applicant resume referrals)

Note: Access to the Career Resources Center is FREE to applicants who are registered for the ASHG 2008 Meeting subject to verification of ASHG 2008 Meeting Registration; however, employers must pay a fee ($200) for the service. Further information will be posted starting October 10, 2008.

Career Networking Reception and Job Fair

The Career Networking Reception will be held on Wednesday, November 12, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Pennsylvania Convention Center (Grand Hall). Employment services will be available throughout the meeting. In addition, space will be available for scheduling interviews during each day of the meeting.
